Couples looking for a unique vibe
Spent a night in this older place, and I gotta say, the atmosphere was somewhat eerie yet charming. The place had that old-world feeling, pretty much like stepping into a time capsule -- taxidermy on the walls, creaky floors, and vintage decor that makes you think of stories untold.

It was just a smart choice for spending night in Purling with good value considering price it charged. The room was cozy, but the bed was a bit uncomfortable with springs digging into my back. Make sure to check the pet policy if traveling with a dog.

I had a lovely stay at this charming spot! The cozy fire pits were perfect for a relaxing evening, and the decor truly made me feel like I was in a different era. The schnitzel was absolutely delicious, a standout dish that I'll crave for a long time.

We had a delightful stay at the inn, enjoying the stunning fall views by the lake. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed. The free breakfast was a hit with the kids, featuring various options that kept us fueled for our adventures, like the nearby mountain trails that are perfect for families.
In my wife’s opinion, the stairs can be tough with young kids. A small upgrade to add a lift would be a huge help for families with children.

The eerie charm of the old hotel added to our experience, especially the creaky floors and taxidermied animals. We appreciated the friendly service from the young woman at the desk and enjoyed the evening ambiance on the front porch.
The dark dining room made breakfast a bit off-putting.

The cozy bar was definitely the highlight of our stay! 🍻 The old-world charm of the inn is delightful, but we did notice some cleanliness issues in our room. Overall, a nice getaway in the Catskills.

We had a lovely stay with our toddlers, enjoying free breakfast with tons of choices and board games for the kids to keep them entertained. The cozy atmosphere was perfect for relaxing, and we particularly loved the stunning lake view in the back. The only downside was that the TV wasn’t working, but we didn’t mind since we were focused on family time. 😊

I stayed in a Quadruple Room with Bath. The bathroom had a hot tub, which was awesome for relaxing. Air conditioning kept the room cool, and I really appreciated the complimentary bottle of water. The staff were super friendly and attentive. Breakfast had a variety of tasty options, including fresh pastries. The cozy bar had a nice vibe too.

The breakfast bars were a delightful way to kickstart your day, with local flavors that tickled the taste buds! The staff was friendly, and the old house had a charm that really stood out.
However, we were bummed to find the fireplace broken, and let's just say, dealing with a roach situation isn't the ideal way to unwind after a long day. Chatting with the owner about bugs didn't feel right either.
